About me and my practice

If you are searching for a safe space to be with what is around for you right now, I can help. You may be facing a difficult decision or struggling with a relationship with someone in your life. There might be a lot of pressure around. You may be feeling that you have lost a sense of who you are.

Life might have lost a little direction. You may be facing an enforced or welcome change or transition in your life. Maybe you are looking for a little support with someone you can trust. Something might need healing. You are strong and capable and also there is a part needing some compassion and care. You may be feeling stuck, unable to make a very important life decision. I am a resource for you to find your way back to the life you desire and get back on track.

I help by giving you my complete attention in a confidential space. You can say whatever you need to say and feel what you need to feel, in your own time. I integrate both mind and body approaches to healing past and present hurts.

I offer face to face sessions at my room in central Norwich. I also offer online sessions via Face-time and Zoom. I do not offer text or email therapy. All our meetings are confidential and I abide by the BACP Code of Guidance in regard to their Ethical Framework.

Areas of counselling.
I integrate a number of theoretical approaches to provide a wide range of resources we can engage with in our sessions. I aim to combine breadth and depth, providing you with tangible resources you can take away and incorporate within your life.

Experience

I am an Accredited Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

I work in private practice and have been qualified since 2015 following an award of PG Diploma in Counselling at the University of East Anglia.

I have experience working in a holistic way with adults 18 and upward experiencing a number of difficulties including anxiety, depression, loss of meaning, relationship breakdown, lack of confidence, family conflict, neurodivergence, identity issues and work related issues.

Initial Consultation

Prior to making an initial appointment, I offer a free 15 minute informal chat. I then offer an initial session at a discount cost so that we have time to explore your needs and a way forward.

Fees

Hourly rates for each session. First session £30.00, further sessions £50.00.

When I Work

I work Tuesday to Saturday on a flexible basis face to face and online.

My last face to face appointment is 5pm until 6pm.

Evening slots available from Tuesday to Friday on Zoom or Facetime from 6pm.

I offer a Saturday morning for those who are working full time.

Therapeutic Approach

I integrate a number of approaches including coaching.
